As you can see by the date of this post May is almost gone and we are still waiting.
Referrals came on time to our agency and instead of getting the call we were hoping for we got a different one. Harvey got a call saying that they got all the referrals except ours and one other family.
There was some hope that we may still get our referral but that hope is gone now too. We were given a reason of that in the referral room our dossier was pulled for an invalid photo. Our agency has no record of that and we never got a call asking for a new photo, however magically it was corrected and was but back in the process.
Our agency has told us that we should be in the next group of referrals (in June). I hope they are right but I can't say that I really believe anyone knows at this point.
So we have started renewing our paper work again. Finger prints in Norfolk again next week. Next we need to schedule a new home study update. Then update our 171H.
Good times ....

Today is suppose to be the day
Well it's a very surreal feeling of hope I have this morning. I am suppose to see my daughter today (only in a picture) and learn my first few tidbits of who she is. Harvey and I will be come parents again, and Zachary will become a big brother.
It's clearly so different than the morning i went to the hospital to have Zachary. If you can imagine I feel even more helpless. There is nothing I can do but wait anxiously too see that precious face. To make matters even worse it will probably be late today. Fed Ex is suppose to get to the Agency in Austin around 2pm central time, then of course they have translate the basics for each family and start scanning pictures and then start making phone calls. We could very well be home from work by the time we hear anything at all.
Here's to hoping for a quick day!

Referrals are on the way.....
We got an email from Great Wall (our agency) Telling us that a package with referrals was on the way. That means after 4 years and 18 days of waiting, and 6 months before that of paper work, we are going to see our daughters face on Monday! I still don't quite believe it but i am pretty darn excited at this point.
